Earlier this week The UPA changed their name to USA Ultimate. There have been questions amongst Canadian players as how the change affects us and to that end I asked Melanie Byrd (Director, Membership and Sport Development) directly: Does the change in name also mean a change in mandate for Canadian members and Canadian Teams in Club Championship Series? Melanie replied: There was no change instituted along with our brand/website change in regards to who can participate at the Club Championships.

At this point it looks like it will be raining all day Saturday while bright and sunny on Sunday. Live broadcast will happen on Sunday but may not happen on Saturday. At this time I’m still looking into a solution that will stand up to the wind and rain on Saturday.
