Apologies – Live again

Sorry about the end of that game, we got hit with a ton of viewers all at the same time and stressed us out again. That was compounded with the net connection here going down. I’ve made a few more fixes and we should be ready to go again. Please view the link below to get going again.

A recap of day 2

It was an interesting day for Too Bad, our inconsistency definitely caught up with us. We played three games and lost all three in what could be measured as relatively close terms. Our first matchup of the day was against Phoenix and we made them work for their win. We started out with two breaks and continued to hold our lead until half. It was a game where we faltered at the end due to concentration but overall quite a bit of fun.

L on L – Day 2

I woke up pretty tight this morning, but I got a better sleep last night so I was ready and super-stoked. After a bit of a rain delay we got right into it with Psychoplastique. I played in the annual Ho-down tournament in Calgary and watched Psycho win it all, but I was actually not all that impressed by them. Not only that, the roster was really different. But this team placed 3rd last year so we could hardly take them lightly.

Lenny on Liquid – Day 1

Nationals is here once again and day one is in the books. It always astounds me how it can get better every year, but it always does. I’ve played ultimate for over 8 years, but I’ve only managed to go to Nationals the last three – Halifax, Toronto and Calgary – all with Liquid. Our finishes have been 9th, 10th, and 5th in 2008. This year we came in as the #2 seed.

Day 1…what?

Day one has finished itself off quite wonderfully and here I am in bed typing up a few words. While I ran hard today and am tired right now I know that tomorrow I will bring yet more energy to the game, more speed, more intensity because that’s what my team needs and deserves. However, there’s something you deserve. A quick recap of the day; here are some things off of the top of my head:

Day 1 at Nationals: the Fossil perspective

Again, apologies for not tweeting the live score updates; I thought I was, fortunately someone pointed out my error. As for Day 1 at Nationals, it was an exciting experience for me, as I was one of a handful of Fossil players making their CUC debuts today. Oddly, wasn’t as nervous as I thought I would be. Don’t know if that’s a good thing. Our 1st game was a rematch of a very intense matchup at No Borders against BDU (universe point win for Fossil).
