Living Life at 11

I am often asked to play on league teams or tournament teams and I tend to say yes. For this I’ve been labeled as a player that will play on almost any team and sometimes have been frowned upon for it. It may seem odd but

I am a man of rules, I read the rules, and then I promptly forget most of them. Living without rules is trouble and while I tend to be a bit of a troublemaker on and off the field I have what I like to call “guidelines”: Don’t play when you’re injured (this wasn’t on the list until two years ago, another story about that sometime). This one is more of a suggestion…as my teammates can attest to (once again guys, I apologize about Sectionals).

It’s an easy question to answer: “Why did I do that?” “To Play.” I think this one deserves a bit more explanation. You’re probably wondering what I’m talking about from the get go but perhaps you’ll indulge me as I describe the situation. Given my propensity to travel and meet people from around the world I’ve done the same locally. While most players tend to play with local teams I enjoy picking up here and there.
